Introduction

The law of 9 May, 2012 modifying the amended law on development cooperation and humanitarian affairs of 6 January 1996, expands the powers of the Inter-ministerial Committee for Development Cooperation regarding policy coherence for development (art. 50), and stipulates that an annual report of the committee’s work, including on the subject of policy coherence, must be presented yearly to the Chamber of Deputies.

The committee’s composition and working methods are defined by the grand ducal regulation of 7 August 2012, as envisaged by the new law.
